These McCain air fryer gyros are packed with deliciously seasoned chicken, crispy fries, and halloumi, all cooked in the air fryer for minimal fuss! With a fun twist of assembling it all on warm flatbreads, this is a must-try for dinner or a quick weeknight meal!
INGREDIENTS
2 Small Chicken Breast (around 300g)
130g Halloumi, sliced
Olive Oil
200g McCain Air Fryer French Fries
Flatbreads
Tzatziki
Salad
Cherry Tomatoes, diced
Cucumber, diced
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Lemon Juice (optional)
Gyros Seasoning Recipe:
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp dried mint
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper

METHOD
Begin by making your gyros seasoning - combining 2 tsp paprika, 1 tsp ground coriander, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp thyme, 1 tsp dried mint, ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper
Add 2 small chicken breast and 4 halloumi slices (around 100g) to your air-fryer basket, drizzle with olive oil and half of the gyros seasoning and cook for 12 minutes (flipping halfway) at 180C, before setting aside
Add 200g McCain Air-Fryer French Fries and sprinkle the other half of the gyros seasoning and and toss until well coated, then air-fry for 5 minutes at 180C
To a warmed-through flatbread, add some Tzatziki, salad (of choice), the gyros seasoned fries, chicken, halloumi, fresh parsley (optional) and some lemon juice (optional)
