These Cheesy Lasagne Loaded Fries are the perfect combination of crispy French fries, savoury homemade bolognese, creamy white sauce, and gooey melted cheese. A true crowd pleaser, this dish is easy to make and will become a family favourite for dinner or as a hearty snack!
INGREDIENTS
300g McCain Crispy French Fries
350g of Creamy White Sauce
120g of Four Cheese Blend
Bolognese recipe:
250g of Beef Mince
400g of Chopped tomatoes
1 small onion, diced
1 large carrot, diced
2 sticks of celery, diced
1 Garlic clove
1 Beef stock cube
1 tbsp of tomato puree
2 tsp of mixed herbs
Salt & Pepper to taste
Extra Ingredients/props needed (to buy):
Garlic bread & side salad
Fresh parsley
METHOD
Add 300g McCain Crispy French Fries to a baking tray and cook for 14-16 minutes at 220C fan/gas mark 8, turning them every now and again, until they’re lovely, crisp and light golden, before removing from the oven and allowing to cool for 5 minutes.
Top with leftover bolognese, 350g creamy white sauce and 120g of Four Cheese Blend
Bake again for another 15 – 20 minutes at 180C fan/gas mark 8 or until your cheese is golden and gooey!
Serve up on a plate alongside some garlic bread and a side salad.
