Chicken Taquitos with Sweet Potato Fries

Crispy taquitos, filled with creamy chicken and melted cheese, are paired with golden, crispy sweet potato fries for a satisfying combo. Easy to make in the air fryer, this meal is perfect for cozy gatherings and a fun, flavourful experience.

INGREDIENTS

1 chicken breast

50g cream cheese

30g cheddar cheese

30g gouda cheese

1 teaspoon oregano, dried

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 pinch of red chili powder

60g tortilla wraps

Toothpicks

250g McCain Sweet Potato Fries

Tomato Sauce/Sour Cream for dipping

METHOD

  • Boil chicken breast for 15 minutes

  • Shred the boiled chicken with 2 forks and mix in a bowl with the cream/gouda and cheddar cheeses, oregano, salt, pepper and chilli powder. Mix everything together well

  • Place McCain Sweet Potato Fries in the air fryer for 8 minutes at 200C

  • Cut tortilla wraps into quarters. Add a tablespoon full of your chicken and cheese mixture to the centre of the wrap. Roll up each tortilla tightly and secure with toothpick

  • Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket with fries for the final 4 minutes of the cook time

  • Bake the Taquitos until golden. Serve with fries and dips of choice.
