Chicken Taquitos with Sweet Potato Fries
DIFFICULTY
Crispy taquitos, filled with creamy chicken and melted cheese, are paired with golden, crispy sweet potato fries for a satisfying combo. Easy to make in the air fryer, this meal is perfect for cozy gatherings and a fun, flavourful experience.
INGREDIENTS
1 chicken breast
50g cream cheese
30g cheddar cheese
30g gouda cheese
1 teaspoon oregano, dried
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pinch of red chili powder
60g tortilla wraps
Toothpicks
250g McCain Sweet Potato Fries
Tomato Sauce/Sour Cream for dipping
METHOD
Boil chicken breast for 15 minutes
Shred the boiled chicken with 2 forks and mix in a bowl with the cream/gouda and cheddar cheeses, oregano, salt, pepper and chilli powder. Mix everything together well
Place McCain Sweet Potato Fries in the air fryer for 8 minutes at 200C
Cut tortilla wraps into quarters. Add a tablespoon full of your chicken and cheese mixture to the centre of the wrap. Roll up each tortilla tightly and secure with toothpick
Place the tortillas in the air fryer basket with fries for the final 4 minutes of the cook time
Bake the Taquitos until golden. Serve with fries and dips of choice.
