Peri Peri Halloumi Fakeaway with McCain Air Fryer Quick & Crispy Deep Ridge Crinkle Chips

250g Halloumi cheese
1 red peppers
2 corn cobettes
30g salted butter
Large pinch table salt
1 tsp onion granules
1 tsp garlic granules
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
3 tbsp mayonnaise
4 tsp peri peri sauce, with extra to taste if you like!
250g McCain Air Fryer Quick & Crispy Deep Ridge Crinkle Chips

How to cook

Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 200ºc/400ºf.

Step 2
Cut your halloumi into slices and drizzle with olive oil. Remove the cheeks from the red pepper by cutting down each side and pop into a bowl with the halloumi. Mix together all of the herbs and spices but leave the salt out for the moment, then drizzle the halloumi and pepper cheeks with olive oil and season with a big pinch of your spice mix.

Step 3
Add the salt into your remaining spices and sprinkle over your corn on the cob. Wrap your corn in tin foil with a knob of butter.

Step 4
Place the pepper cheeks into the air fryer basket with the halloumi, then use the rack to put the corn cob parcels on top, then air fry for 5 minutes. In your second air fryer basket after 5 minutes pour in the McCain Air Fryer Crinkle Chips and cook for 8 minutes, shaking halfway through.

Step 5
While everything is cooking in the air fryer, mix together the peri peri sauce with the mayonnaise and season to taste.

Step 6
As everything finishes cooking at the same time, you can serve up the hot buttery corn cobs, pepper cheeks and halloumi with a spoon of spicy mayonnaise. Sprinkle the remaining spiced salt over the McCain Air Fryer Crinkle Chips and give them a good shake to coat, then serve!
