If you want the same Home Chips crunch, but with more chunk, then Chunky Cut Chips are for you. Using top quality potatoes and our special crispy coating, they’re crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, and every bit as tasty.

Ingredients

Potatoes, Sunflower Oil, Batter (WHEAT Flour (with Calcium, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Modified Starch (Maize, Tapioca), Rice Flour, Salt, Corn Starch, Natural Colours (Turmeric Extract, Paprika Extract)).

How to Cook

The following cooking instructions are for 500g of McCain Chunky Cut Chips. For smaller quantities reduce the cooking time accordingly. For best results cook from frozen. DO NOT overcook!

OVEN

Preheat the oven to 230ºC / 445ºF / Gas Mark 8.
For fan assisted ovens that’s 220ºC / 430ºF.
Spread your Chunky Cut Home Chips evenly in a single layer onto a baking tray and pop it into the top of the oven.
Bake for 22 – 25  minutes, turning them every now and again, until they’re lovely, crisp and light golden.

GRILL

Remove the rack from the grill pan. Preheat the grill for five minutes at a medium high heat.
Spread your Chunky Cut Chips evenly in a single layer onto the grill pan. Grill for 15 minutes, turning them every now and again, until they’re lovely, crisp and light golden.
