At McCain, we believe that everyone can enjoy our products as part of a healthy, balanced diet.
That’s why, for example, our Rustic Oven Chips contain only 3% fat, less than 1% saturated fat and score an impressive four green traffic lights for health and we leave the skins on so you get more taste and more of the natural McCain potato goodness and McCain nutrition. What’s more, McCain oven chips contain just two ingredients: potatoes and sunflower oil because we think keeping things simple is naturally better.
Making sure ‘It’s all good’ for you
We work very hard across all our products to reduce things like saturated fat and salt. For example, we’ve reduced salt in our foods by 18% and saturated fat by over 70% in the last six years.
We’re also very proud to be one of the first UK manufacturers to introduce traffic light labelling to our packs. We know our customers are busy people, and want a quick, straightforward way to check the nutritional value of what they’re feeding their families.
