Home-made lean beef burgers with tomato relish and green salad, served with Ridge Cut Wedges

Ingredients

Burger

  • 400g lean steak mince
  • 1red  onion, finely chopped
  • 4 tbs white  bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1tbs fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 tbs chopped chives

Relish

  • 300g Chopped fresh tomato
  • 150g Chopped baby red salad onion
  • Chives
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 4 x ciabatta rolls or bread buns, lightly grilled or toasted
  • Fresh lettuce
  • 600g McCain Ridge Cut Wedges (uncooked weight)

How to cook

Mix all the burger ingredients together with your hands and form into 4 burgers. Cover with cling film and chill for ½ hr.  Meanwhile make the relish by mixing all the chopped ingredients together and set aside.

Pre heat the grill to medium and cook the burgers gently, turning once or twice.  Ensure the burgers are cooked through and serve in a lightly grilled or toasted ciabatta roll or bread bun with the fresh relish, fresh lettuce and Mc Cain Ridge Cut Wedges.  (Follow on pack cooking instructions)
