McCain Lattices and Homemade Burgers
Ingredients
Homemade Burgers
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 450g lean steak mince
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional)
- 4 burger buns
Tomato relish
- 250g cherry tomatoes, chopped
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tsp tomato ketchup
How to cook
Preheat the oven to 230oc/445oF/Gas Mark 8 and bake your Lattices for 12-15 minutes. Alternatively preheat your grill for 5 minutes at a medium high heat. Grill for 7-9 minutes turning every now and again. (For more details on cooking instructions see the back of your Lattices pack).
Simply mix all the ingredients for the burgers together, season well with salt and pepper. Divide the mixture into four and shape into burgers. They will cook better if you make them flatter. Chill until ready to cook.
Pre heat the grill to a medium high heat and cook the burger turning over a few times until cooked right through.
Mix the relish ingredients together and serve with the burgers in bread buns, salad and McCain Lattice.
