The British farmers who grow our potatoes aren’t just ‘suppliers’, they’re people we know and trust. We work closely with them to ensure the finest possible crop, supplying them with the best seed potatoes and giving them lots of help along the way.
Every batch of potatoes delivered to McCain comes with its own passport – allowing us to track exactly when they were harvested, which farmer grew them for us, and even which field they were grown in. That protects us, it protects the farmer – and most importantly, it protects you.
We also help our family of farmers in a number of ways: supporting grower groups so they can share machinery and know-how, and also making interest-free loans available to provide much-needed investment. This all helps our farmers deliver great UK produce for you.
